The Sachdev family story
Before there were projects, there was family, and a belief in buildings that lasted.
After immigrating to the United States, Mohan Sachdev built his career through steady work, integrity, and a deep commitment to his community. What began in veterinary medicine grew into a lifelong practice, shaped by independence, care, and attention to detail. Even after enjoying success, the work never stopped.
That mindset carried forward.
As the family began acquiring property in Windsor, the focus wasn’t expansion for its own sake. It was care, ensuring buildings were used, maintained, and contributing to life around them. Not sitting vacant or forgotten.
For Neill, Mohan’s son, that responsibility is personal. Some of the buildings Sachdev has chosen to restore aren’t just familiar to the community. They’re familiar to him. They’re places he passed growing up, part of the backdrop of everyday life. That history quietly informs our work. These aren’t abstract investments. They’re places that already mattered and still do.
Today, Sachdev continues that legacy with a long-term mindset — extending the idea of family beyond four walls and into the neighborhoods we’re a part of.
The principles that guide us
The choices we make are guided by a small set of principles we return to again and again. They serve as standards for how we work and how we show up in the communities we invest in.
Integrity
Doing the work the right way, even when it takes longer or asks more of us.
Stewardship
Caring for buildings beyond their renovation and remaining connected to the places we invest in.
Attention to Detail
Because the smallest decisions shape how a place feels, functions, and endures..
Community
Creating spaces meant to be used, shared, and lived in — not simply occupied.

Why we build
We build because places matter, and, when they’re cared for, they can bring people together.
We often work in the same neighborhoods, sometimes within just a few miles. That’s intentional. When projects are connected, they begin to support one another, creating a sense of continuity rather than disruption.
We favor long-term ownership and thoughtful restoration. When spaces are returned to use, people return with them. Local businesses take root. Jobs are created. Over time, a community strengthens from the inside out.
That cycle is what keeps us invested.
